Well Norway was a lot of fun, but not too kind to the wallet. Therefore, after considering several alternatives, we decided to head to Sweden, traveling several hundreds of kilometers by night train to Oslo and straight on taking the morning bus to Göteborg....a almost 13 hour trip.
A train is a good place to get to know the local people. Some elderly ladies travel 2x 7 hours to go to a birthday party in Bergen and teenagers can be annoying in any country. One was waving around his (real) mini Viking sword in the train. Back on Oslo station a former Los Angeles cabaret woman (who works at a coffee bar now) showed us the way to the buses to Sweden. |
